TEACHER PROFILES
Corinna Cosentino was introduced to Pilates as a young dancer and received her certification in 1998 from Amy Halaby de Sa at Body Balance Studios in Chicago. Amy studied under Romana Kryzanowska, who studied directly with Joseph and Clara Pilates. Corinna taught at Body Balance for several years and then continued her studies at Frog Temple Pilates Studio in Chicago owned by Randi Whitman. It is here where she further developed her knowledge of the classical repertoire as taught at the renowned Boulder Pilates Center where Randi received her training.
Corinna has worked actively with professional dancers and athletes while
also specializing in post-surgical rehab and acute spinal and joint
conditions.
Blair Westphal hails from San Diego, CA. She has a background in training horses. Following a spinal injury acquired while horse riding she discovered Pilates as an avenue to alleviate back pain. She obtained her Pilates certification in Missoula, MT in 2018 and is currently working on her certification in Gyrotonics.

Blair loves working with people brand new to Pilates and finds it very rewarding watching her clients progress.
Tobie Hall has been teaching Pilates for 15 years. She is comprehensively trained in all apparatus. She enjoys getting to know her clients both professionally and personally. She previously worked in Indianapolis where she had her own studio for 8 years before retiring to Bloomington. She is also a massage therapist who does myofascial release, relaxation and deep tissue work.
DJ Gray has been teaching Pilates and Gyrotonic movement for 20 years in both California and New York. She began her movement training at the age of 7, as a competitive swimmer. She continued the sport throughout her college career, earning the title of a 4 Year All-American. In her final year of college, DJ found her passion in dance. To achieve a dancer’s physique, DJ turned to Pilates and Gyrotonic, which werecritical techniques that enabled her to establish a strong foundation, and healed injuries. Being able to extend this knowledge of skills and insight to others through teaching is a true passion for her.
DJ was certified at Long Beach Dance Conditioning in California for Pilates under the watchful eye of Marie-Jose Blum, and Lisa Marie Goodwin was her Master Trainer with the Gyrotonic Expansive System. Pilates specialties include pre and post natal, injury prevention, advanced Pilates repertoire, hip and knee replacement, and Body Mechanics with Master Stretch Boots and “Elvis”. DJ has worked on Broadway as a performer and an associate choreographer of several shows. She recently moved to Bloomington to join the staff at Indiana University, teaching Musical Theatre Dance and Choreographing for their main stage Productions.
Whitney Krause has had a fascination with fitness since watching her Mother exercise to Jane Fonda videos in the 1980's. She holds a degree in Fashion Merchandising but was longing for something more. Whitney has been taking Pilates since the 1990's. She received her Lotus Pilates certification in 2016. Whitney has multiple group fitness certifications including two Barre certifications, ACE Group Exercise and TRX, also she is pursuing her STOTT Pilates certification (expected, Spring 2018). In addition to teaching at Lotus, Whitney is also a Barre instructor.
When she's not teaching, Whitney likes to cook and to spend time with her family and her two dogs. She also enjoys a good online shopping spree, preferably for shoes.
Sandra Kuebler has been practicing Pilates since she came to Bloomington in 2006. She began her Pilates Certification program at Lotus Pilates with the goal of getting a deeper understanding of the techniques and the methodology and started teaching in 2017. She works as a professor at IU and uses Pilates as a way of letting go of stress irritations from everyday work life. Pilates lets her focus on herself and strengthen the musculature that she needs to balance out a job in which she tends to sit a lot. She loves to teach Pilates and see her clients become stronger and more flexible.
Ejae Lee has been practicing Pilates since she was in college. As she came to Bloomington for her Master's degree at IU, she began the Pilates teacher certification program of Lotus Pilates under the direction of Corinna Cosentino and started teaching at Lotus from 2017. Ejae loves sharing her passion for Pilates and her experience about how much Pilates can improve everyday life. She looks forward to being able to continuously pursue advanced training programs to develop her knowledge about Pilates.
Lindsey Rose came to Pilates as an overwhelmed Art History student at Indiana University with debilitating chronic back pain. After experiencing the physical relief and mental rejuvenation this method offers, she knew she had discovered something life-changing and became certified to teach under the direction of Corinna Cosentino. During the past six years, she has furthered her training with teachers from a variety of approaches including Romana's lineage, Fletcher Pilates, and Body Arts and Science International (BASI). Lindsey is also taking the pre-requisite courses needed to apply to physical therapy school and looks forward to being able to further enrich her teaching with a medical education.​
